In the latest skill migration draw conducted on 4th of September, The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) invited 2,500 skilled applicants to apply for Australian Permanent Resident Visa. The draw was schedules to be conducted on 11th of September but it got postponed and results of the draw were published on 4th October, 2018.

Out of 2,500 the department invited 2,490 candidates through Independent Skilled Visa Subclass 189 and remaining 10 candidates through Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489.

For Subclass 189,DIBP has been issuing invitation through tie-break up rule. For this draw, the tie-break up date and time was 21st June 2018 at 5:55 pm. This means that candidates having minimum score point of 70 and have applied before this date and time are given invitation in this current draw.

For Subclass 489, the tie-break date and time was 10th July, 18 at 11:22 am. The candidates with minimum point score of 80 that have applied before the given date and time are invited to apply for Australia Permanent Residency.

This year has been great so far for candidates willing to immigrate to Australia. EOI rounds are more frequent and point score requirement is less. The latest rounds of invitations invited applicants with the following positions and minimum scores:
