Latest Express Entry draw alert: 24th July

Another Express Entry round through Canada’s Express Entry framework issued 3,600 invites to applicants with Comprehensive Ranking System scores of 459 or higher. The cut-off score of 459 is a cut of one point over the past draw that took place on July 10, which had a base score of 460 points.

This draw was the second back-to-back round to issue 3,600 of invites to apply for PR visa to Canada. This is an extension of 250 ITAs over the 10-program Express Entry draws held between January 30 and June 26, which had issued overall of 3,350 ITAs each.

Canada’s Express Entry framework deals with the profiles of immigration aspirants for three of Canada’s primary immigration classes— the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class. All the applicants are positioned in the pool dependent on a score granted under Express Entry’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) that considers factors, for example, age, education, work abilities and language skills in English or French.

A set number of top rankers from the pool and then issued ITA to apply for Canadian PR visa. The invites are issued through standard draws from the Express Entry pool. The draws are conducted by CIC, which intends to process these PR applications within 6 months of time frame.

CIC has issued a total of 49,000 ITAs so far in the year 2019. With Canada’s plan to focus on the three Express Entry streams and its Provincial Nominee Program, which is somewhat managed by Express Entry, it stays conceivable that CIC will surpass its ITA record of 89,800 that was set a year ago (in 2018).
